(b) A group of students wanted to determine the concentration of citric acid in a particular brand of lemon juice.
To analyse the lemon juice, 50.00 mL sample of the lemon juice was diluted to 250.0 mL in a volumetric flask.  Then 25.00 mL aliquots of the diluted lemon juice solution were titrated with a 0.1135 mol L-1 solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to the endpoint.

3. For each of the chemical species listed in the table below, write the sub-shell electron configuration and then use your sub-shell electron configuration to derive the simple electron configuration.

4. Iron(III) oxide, Fe2O3, reacts with carbon monoxide gas, producing iron metal and carbon dioxide gas, according to the following equation.

                       Fe2O3(s)    +     3CO(g)       →     2Fe(s)   +     3CO2(g)
Calculate the mass of iron metal that is produced when 24.6 g of iron(III) oxide reacts with  to react with excess carbon monoxide.
