Curtis Charles Flood, popularly known as Curt Flood played professional baseball from 1956 to the early 1970s. In professional baseball circles, he was renowned as an above-average player. For instance, in 1966, he played a full season with no error. Curt began his baseball career with the Cincinnati Redlegs, and a year later moved to the Cardinals. Here, he played for twelve seasons and participated in three World Series. At the peak of his career, he was a Gold Glove winner for seven consecutive seasons.
